This one's for the kids who are eager to challenge themselves, ride with other kids at their level and and build endurance. Where: Weeks/Moodys Trails, Gorham Time: 4:30-6:00PM Session Dates: Mondays, May 5th -> June 16th (6 weeks) Best For: 6th - 8th graders Maximum Group Size: 8 (1:4) Join Effie, our PMBIA Certified Mountain Bike Instructor and Wilderness First Responder on instructional weekly group rides. This is a progression-based series with a specific focus each week (body positioning, braking, shifting & cadence, timing, climbing and descending). Our focus is foremost on body awareness so rides are safe and fun, then technical skills practice and building your child’s community of fellow riders. Weeee! This program is designed for intermediate riders - those that ride singletrack trails regularly (at least a few times per month) and are comfortable on blue trails. A bike with at least 6 gears and front or dual suspension is needed. Space will be limited to keep this group small and allow time for individualized attention and feedback. Program will run on Mondays for 6 weeks, starting May 5 and ending June 16, skipping Memorial Day May 26. Questions? Unsure if your child is the right level for this group?
